Our design/build model is made to encourage strong design, concurrent with thoughtful construction strategies. Through meaningful conversations and good planning, edit design build studio will develop a detailed and comprehensive plan for your project from it’s inception to it’s completion.
• SITE VISIT •
A visit to your home is our first step. We will discuss your remodeling ideas, offer our design feedback and analyze your existing space. Initial measurements, photos and other pertinent information will be gathered so we can create a complimentary ballpark estimate for you.
• BALLPARK ESTIMATE •
Your ballpark estimate is a critical step in establishing a budget for your project. We will walk you through how it was created and help you establish a reasonable budget that will be used in the planning stages of your project.
• DESIGN AGREEMENT •
The next step in your design/build planning process is a Design Agreement. This allows us to partner with you to create a comprehensive design that is exciting to you, within your budget and complete in its details and specifications. During this time we will also begin to assemble the team of subcontractors and suppliers who will be working with us throughout your project.
• CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT •
After the design and project planning process is complete, your Construction Agreement will be created. It will include the finalized design plans, the production schedule, the payment schedule, and a complete and thorough list of your project’s specifications and selections.
• CONSTRUCTION •
It is time to break ground! Before we start construction, we will take great care to protect your home. We will always take special considerations for your children and pets, and treat your home as if it is our own. Your space will be cleaned at the end of each work day and you will know that we will deliver on the promises we make. We recognize construction is messy and we know it can be stressful, but we also know that with thorough communication and regular updates we can help minimize any concerns you may have.
