Zoe believes that the best designs and processes are born from clearly defined visions and goals. With years of experience in project planning and design as well as a background in financial management, Zoe has come to appreciate a collaborative process that encourages homeowners to envision their dreams and align them with their budget. Born in Boston, Zoe moved to the Twin Cities in 1992 to attend Macalester College. With a degree in Urban Studies and a passion for development and restoration, she eventually returned to school to complete a certification in Kitchen & Bath Design. Prior to founding edit design build studio, Zoe was the Sales & Design Manager for a local residential remodeling company. Ryan has a passion for thoughtful design that is matched by his commitment to turn those visions into reality. With a background in architecture, Ryan has been involved with design and construction on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects. Born in Wisconsin, Ryan jumped the border to attain a degree in architecture at the University of Minnesota. After graduation, Ryan moved to Colorado, where he developed his design skills at Harry Teague Architects. While in Minneapolis, Ryan worked at DJR Architecture and 20 Below Studio. The roots of edit design build studio trace back to the time that Ryan and his father spent re-envisioning and renovating their family’s 100 year old property into a serene, contemporary setting in Central Wisconsin.
